Welcome to the Canadian College of Emergency Medical Services (CCEMS), a division of the Canadian First Aid School Corporation.
CCEMS offers continuing education courses for the paramedical community on a national and international basis.
Our affiliations within the international arena link us to the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) and to the International Academy for Professional Driving (IAPD). On a more national level, CCEMS is proud to be recognized as the Canadian Representative of NAEMT for their EMS Certificate Programmes, enabling us to answer the need of Canadian agencies for continuing paramedical education for PreHospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS). The goal of the our organisation has always been singular. Through all programmes, and through all direct patient contact, we strive to improve Patient Care. This is the ultimate goal and keeps us grounded and focused. There is no greater purpose than to avoid injury and illness, and when possible reduce morbidity and mortality.
Our affiliation through the National Association of EMT's is one of our cornerstones to providing excellence in continuing-education.
